She loves but needs help!

Hi! My name is Tiffanie and I have a mom who has a lot of problems in her such as money, drinking and smoking weed. I know a lot of kids have it worse and I have to be thankful but sometimes its hard to be strong for her.

It all started when I was about 10 when i had to take on a lot of things, such as watching my sister who at the time was 7 years old and my brother who was 5 years old. I had to watch them and take care of them as if there were my own. My mom had three jobs and was never home. If she wasn't working she was out drinking her life away.

One night my sister got really sick. She couldn't even walk. She was throwing up everywhere. She was 10 years old by this time and I was 13 but she was soo sick and my mom was nowhere to be found. She wasn't working and I had called all of her friends trying to find her. Well finally i went next door to a friends house and asked her mom to take us to the hospital. She did and the cops and everyone was asking questions like "where is your mom and why didn't she bring you." I lied and said she was at work.

They fixed up my sister. She had been poisoned but it was an accident. She got better but it took a few days and finally my mom came home three days later. She never said where she was but after she found out what happened she changed her life around.

My mom doesn't drink as much and stop smoking weed. She has a lot more money since she gave up everything. Now I am 14 and my sister is 11 and my brother is 9. I now live with my dad but not to leave my mom but to give me a life cause there I was babysitting while my mom was working but it was ok. Now things are great with my mom and I see her every other weekend.

So my message to everyone who has this problem or similar problems - just hang in there someone will help cause someone always cares.
