My Dad...I Can't Stand Him

I am only 15 years old, and my dad is a alcoholic. He comes home every night and is drunk. He yells at me all the time, but he won't hit me, because he knows I would hit him back. My mom and I can't ever leave him because we wouldn't have any money without him, it is hopeless to even think of that, so I don't dwell on it. He won't quit because he doesn't feel it is important or affecting me. One night to get away from it, I slashed my ankles open, and I only told a few friends...there was and is nothing they can do. I won't cut myself again. My life is too precious for that.
