My Life

My name is Jessie, I am 16 years old. When I was 2 years old, my biological father committed suicide, and my biological mom was homeless so I was adopted into the family that I have now, Audrey and Greg. Life was going pretty good...until I turned 6 years old, my Dad started to molest me until I was 15. Why then? Because I told someone, my Mom made start going to see my therapist January 2006 for my self injury behavior that has been going on for about 7 years now. My therapist asked "why?" I said, its my Dad, and what he is doing to me. So she reported it and they arrested him with hours, they took him from his work in my little home town, now EVERYONE knows, its soo embarrassing. Oh well I guess that is just something that I will have to live with. Its better than having him doing inappropriate things to me day after day through. I am happy now that I have a support system on the internet, I am in a yahoo group that is really great! I have been s.i. free for about one week now!! Yay. I just wish life could be easier for the children of today's generation, thats what I worry about the most...is saving them.
