There is Always Hope When I was a little girl in the fifth grade, I was very sad and scared. I was not sure why I felt this way. I missed over 95 days of school and was almost taken from my family. I flunked the fifth grade and had to do it all over again and felt very ashamed. My second year of the fifth grade I only missed three days of school and got all A's on my report card. It was not until I became a grown up that I began to understand why I was feeling that way as a child. I am now a social worker who helps people to deal with their feelings and to teach them ways to not feel sad and scared. There is always hope. What you go through today can help you to help others in the future. ![]() | |
