My Life I found out I was Bipolar a year ago this month. Every month it gets easier. The only hard part was mine was genetic and my mom still refuses to take her medicine. I decided that wasn't safe and moved in with my father. When I moved, her people really didn't know a lot about mental disease. They did, they just didn't talk about it. I'm only 17 and I know its hard on my friends. The one good thing I have done is my friend was always feeling depressed and then happy. He took a quiz and saw a doctor and now he is being treated for bipolar too. I'm glad I'm here for him to talk to because it's not easy going through life never knowing what mood is next. It stinks but I'm glad I could help open up communication about mental health and help others seek help. If it had to happen to anyone I'm glad it happened to me because I'm way too outgoing to sit at home all day every day and let the world pass me by. I'm gonna ring my bell cause I'm proud I have made it this far. ![]() | |
